Vintage Blossoms & Welding!

What a crazy month April's been! Lots of fun, but lots of work, as well! The Apple Blossom parade was on Saturday, April 16th this year, which meant that the month before required that all of us in the three Project Make classes needed to give the projects for the parade our all! The parade also presented some interesting opportunities for us as students; Noah and I learned how to weld! It was a bit daunting at first, but welding turned out to be a lot easier and more fun than I thought it would be! We helped construct an apple that would be on the Sebastopol Rotary's float. It looked great, but unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of it with its foam shell on it, but here's the metal frame.

This is what's left of the foam and tubes that covered the apple.
