Android Plushie Progress!

Beginning the project almost a month ago, I was excited about the prospects of making another plushie with electronics! Mr. Shea had the idea of creating another plushie after he met with a Google employee at a conference. After spending about a day thinking of various Google-related apps, programs, and affiliatons, we landed on the idea of a plush Android.
In this go around, there are some time constraints, so to cut down the amount of time cutting the felt pieces, I decided to opt out of Inkscape and instead print a photo of the bot and use the printed pieces as the pattern. It took roughly a week to get all of the pieces cut and *properly* assembled (the front and back are the same pattern, the front just has LED eyes). Now with the eyes perfectly placed, I still have to sew the battery to the LED eyes with conductive thread, but I'm hoping that it will be a little more timely considering that I'll be using the same path as I used in the Maker Bot plushies.
Stay tuned!
